Training Center

After 25 years of providing Home Health Care Services in Virginia, I realized that there’s more to CARE than just providing Personal Care Assistance, Mobile Salon/Spa Services, and Livability Assessments. While those services are wonderful for our recipients,  we are now in a “Dawn of a New Day”  where there is currently a shortage of care providers to facilitate the future demand of an aging and differently-able population. Therefore, I-CARE is launching a new division called “ICARE2Aide Training Center”:.

ICARE2Aide  is an I-CARE initiative inspired by a need and desire to provide quality care by providing training and education to people of all ages, background, and skill set.

Training sessions will consist of but not limited to:

  • Personal Care Aide Classes – a 40-hour certificate program upon graduation allows graduates to seek work in the rewarding field of home care.
  • Continuing education courses for: current care providers, administrative staff and people in the community dealing with issues such as coping with dementia, assessing fall risks and reducing infection control at home and in facilities.
  •  Online courses will be provided with sufficient offsite and training by our registered nurses as well as our clinical support team

The primary objectives for this center is to :
A– to Assist with Awareness
– to Instruct and Inspire
D– to Develop with Determination
E  -to Educate Everyone
